The ferries operating between Fynshav and Bojden are run by Alslinjen, currently the only active ferry company on this route. The crossing takes approximately 45 minutes, and onboard Alslinjen you can enjoy various facilities. Tickets are available from 45 euros (see prices here).
Ferries: Mercandia and the M/F Frigg Sydfyen
On the crossing from Fynshav to Bojden, Alslinjen operates two different ferries: the Mercandia and the M/F Frigg Sydfyen. Although they are two different vessels, you can enjoy the following facilities onboard both ships during the crossing:
- Restaurant for food and drinks
- Seating areas
- Toilets
- Outdoor deck (see the weather forecast here)
- Dog areas

Traveling with pets onboard Alslinjen
Traveling with dogs, cats, or other pets from Fynshav to Bojden? They are welcome on Alslinjen, but you must follow these rules:
- Pets are only allowed in the designated ‘dog areas'
- All dogs must be kept on a leash; other pets must be kept in a carrier
- Pets must not cause any disturbance to other passengers
Pets are also allowed to stay in the car during the crossing with Alslinjen. Keep in mind that the car deck will be closed off during the crossing.
Check-in procedure
It’s important to check in on time with Alslinjen. The ferry company recommends that foot passengers check in at least 15 minutes before departure. Traveling by car? Then you must check in at least 30 minutes in advance. Check the departure times in the current timetable and leave home on time.
